Recanati

Recanati is a hilltop city in the Marche region of central Italy, set among rolling countryside a short distance inland from the Adriatic coast. It is known as the birthplace of the poet Giacomo Leopardi, and its historic centre, squares and views over the surrounding hills give the town a quiet, cultured character.
